Roles in Action - There are various operator positions available General Mill Worker (GMW): GMW's are the go-to person for getting the job done. This role works across all levels of the factory and requires a high level of activity and manual work in the form of cleaning, hosing and removing chokes from equipment. Weighbridge Operators : Responsible for weighing cane and data entry when it comes into the mill. Operators : Monitors the Juice Circuit to ensure crushing of cane is efficient and productive. Control Chemist: Analyses various mill products to ensure quality and performance. Juice Chemist: Performs analysis for cane payment purposes. You'll play a key role in transporting sugarcane from farms to factories on a shift roster, with our locomotives running through picturesque cane fields across the region. The positions are usually either: Loco Driver: Transports sugarcane from farms to factories on a shift roster. Loco Driver Assistant: Assist driver with services, assemble rakes of cane bins, inspections and tagging defective bins. Cane Rail Labourer : Maintains and repairs the rail network. This is a physically demanding position to maintain the lines that our locomotives run on.
