Your impact, with us As a Cardiac Physiologist, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality cardiac testing and support for our patients—contributing to earlier diagnoses, better outcomes, and ultimately, healthier lives. Based in Gladstone, you’ll support our visiting Cardiologists and Specialist Cardiac Physiologists by providing administrative support, performing ECG’s and assisting with Stress ECG and Stress Echocardiography, ensuring high standards of care and patient interaction. You’ll make a meaningful impact by: Being responsible for providing the day to day, best practice delivery of ECG, Blood Pressure and Holter monitor recordings for Advara Heartcare patients ahead of Cardiologist consultations. Assisting Cardiologists and Specialist Cardiac Physiologists with Exercise Stress Tests and Exercise Stress Echocardiograms. Providing front of clinic support with minor administrative duties (meet and greet, distribute and collect patient forms). You will be required to work closely with other Cardiac Physiologists, Specialist Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiologists, and all practice staff to ensure best practice and optimise patient outcomes. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in performing resting Electrocardiograms (ECG’s) with an interest in analysis and interpretation An ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks. An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs. The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands. The ability to follow direction; accept feedback; learn new tasks and adapt to change.
