As the Manager – Care (Care Hubs), you will oversee our care services within our Care Hubs at our Arcadia and The Verge at Burleigh Retirement Villages, and future Care Hubs in our new developments in Brisbane. About The Position Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services and products to RetireAustralia’s residents with assessed or identified needs. In this position, you will be required to work across our Arcadia Retirement Village at Yeronga, our The Verge at Burleigh Retirement Village in the Gold Coast, and future Care Hubs in our new developments in Brisbane. Through your compassion and understanding of the industry, you will be able to actively listen to our residents and their perspectives to build these relationships. This will allow you to use a holistic approach to meet the specialised needs of our residents. You will have a close working relationship with Village Managers, and collaborate across The Verge, Arcadia and future Care Hubs in our new developments in Brisbane to provide our residents with the highest quality of care. Building and maintaining a relationship with our residents and their families is vital. Reporting to the Residential Care Manager, the key responsibilities for this position are: Manage Care resources and products in a cost-effective manner without compromising appropriate standards of care. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies & procedures. Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and liaise for resident transfers. Build rapport with local businesses, medical providers, and community groups. Ensure that Care Hubs provide a homely living environment which enables a range of lifestyle choices. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all residents, their families, other service providers and the broader local community. Supervise all care/service delivery staff in areas including but not limited to: resident care and support services, lifestyle services, scheduling and rostering. Record all compliments, complaints, and concerns, and escalate as needed to protect safety, reputation, or financial performance. Ensure that effective risk management strategies are implemented and reviewed regularly. Visiting our Care Hubs across Yeronga, the Gold Coast and future Care Hubs in our new developments in Brisbane (car allowance on offer). We’re on the lookout for someone with: Tertiary qualifications in Nursing (Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma desirable) Current registration to practice with AHPRA. Minimum of 5 years’ Post Graduate experience with a proven track record of excellent clinical judgement (Support at Home, healthcare or residential aged care environment) Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care legislation and Support at Home Program. Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport. National Police Check (or ability to obtain). First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain). Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
