About the role: Initially, you will contribute to the delivery of our Fiona Stanley Hospital Carpark Project in Western Australia. This project will deliver a multi-deck carpark facility to support growing demand at Fiona Stanley Hospital, enhancing accessibility for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. As a Section Manager, you will take ownership of a defined section of works on this complex building project, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage all construction, commercial, and stakeholder aspects within your section. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the delivery of a defined project section, including program, cost, quality, and safety outcomes Aligning scope and controlling changes to ensure financial and contractual targets are achieved Leading and mentoring Project Engineers and site teams to drive performance and accountability Overseeing subcontractor procurement, engagement, and performance Managing head contract obligations, variations, and risk/opportunity processes Driving strong HSEQ outcomes and fostering a proactive safety culture Building effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders within a live operational environment This is a hands-on site leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced project environments and enjoys driving outcomes through people. Your Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Section Manager on building or infrastructure projects Demonstrated capability managing complex scopes, multiple work packages, or high-value projects Strong commercial and contractual acumen, including cost control and subcontract management Ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working in live or highly constrained environments (desirable) Ready to Apply?
