Super (flexible, benchmarking to $256K) A large NSW government enterprise is undertaking a major enterprise data platform transformation and is seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect to help design and guide the future-state data platform. This role sits within the DAAI portfolio and focuses on enterprise data platform architecture. You will help define architecture standards, guide delivery teams, and shape the technical foundations required to enable scalable analytics, data sharing and modern integration across the organisation. This role combines architecture leadership with hands-on design, including solution architecture and POC work where required. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain enterprise data platform architecture and domain models. Establish architecture standards, patterns and design guidelines. Provide solution architecture and technical advisory support to delivery teams. Support the uplift of data integration, availability and platform scalability Address platform challenges including data duplication, integration complexity and near real-time data access. Work closely with senior stakeholders across data, technology and enterprise architecture. Technology Environment Cloud: AWS Data Platform: Snowflake Integration: ETL / ELT, modern data integration patterns Analytics: Qlik, Power BI About You Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect or Data Platform Architect. Strong background in enterprise or domain-level data architecture. Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake (or similar cloud data platforms). Deep understanding of data integration, platform architecture and governance. Ability to translate complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders. Comfortable operating across strategy, architecture standards and solution design.
