About The Role Perth Airport is seeking an experienced Senior Business Partner - Health & Wellbeing to play a pivotal role in partnering with the business to deliver and embed Perth Airport’s health, hygiene and wellbeing strategy across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager Health and Wellbeing, this is a senior, business-facing role suited to a confident senior advisor who enjoys working closely with leaders, employees, and contractors to translate strategy into action. Responsibilities This role combines strategic influence with hands‑on delivery. You will partner with the business to provide expert advice, coordinate programs, respond to incidents, and support continuous improvement across physical and psychosocial wellbeing, helping to lift maturity and consistency across the PAPL estate. In this role, you will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Partner with business units to implement and embed health, hygiene and psychosocial wellbeing programs across the organisation Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on physical and psychosocial health matters, early intervention, and appropriate workplace adjustments Support health and psychosocial risk assessments, inspections, hygiene monitoring, and assurance activities Participate in injury‑related incident investigations and assist with the implementation of corrective actions Coordinate fitness for work activities, including monitoring, assessments, and follow‑up actions Administer and support the Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) in line with legislative and organisational requirements Contribute to injury management, early intervention, and return‑to‑work processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Analyse trends and prepare reports, dashboards and insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement Engage with business units and contractors to promote consistent health, hygiene, and wellbeing practices Support contractor onboarding and monitor compliance with Contractor Minimum Engagement Standards Contribute to the continuous improvement of health, hygiene, and wellbeing policies, systems, and initiatives About You You will bring a strong mix of technical expertise, operational experience, and interpersonal capability, including: A tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role as well as demonstrated experience providing senior‑level health and wellbeing support within a complex or operational environment Solid, employer‑based injury management experience and working knowledge of relevant legislative requirements Experience conducting health and wellbeing assessments, supporting audits, and contributing to risk management processes Strong knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety legislation and standards The ability to influence leaders and stakeholders to adopt recommended controls and embed better wellbeing practices Clear, empathetic communication skills and a collaborative, consultative approach High integrity, resilience, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively About Us We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration.
