The Role: We are looking for an experienced Manager to manage a client portfolio, playing the key role with clients, supporting a junior team and flexing their expertise across advisory and compliance. Duties: Effectively manage a client portfolio, providing technical support, feedback and guidance to team members that work on your clients. Lead client meetings, presentations and in-house training. Manage junior staff, workflow, reviews, WIPs, budgets and targets. Review and provide quality assurance on work for Superannuation Funds being provided to clients. Review and identify technical issues, mitigate risk and consider planning strategies to minimise tax. Active participation and facilitation in training or discussions around specific technical areas. Actively seek new client opportunities outside of the existing client base. About you: CA or CPA qualified (or overseas equivalent). Minimum 8 years' experience in an Australian public practice firm. Advanced understanding of the Corporations Act, relevant accounting standards, tax legislation and other research as they relate to the work undertaken Experience in managing client relationships and junior teams.
