The Role We are seeking a full-time Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards. Key Responsibilities Manage overall kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients, ensuring consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation Ensure timely preparation of orders during busy service periods while coordinating with the bar and other kitchen sections Maintain effective mise en place to support smooth kitchen operations Monitor ingredient quality and freshness, reporting any concerns to Head Chef Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and minimization of wastage Support and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with HACCP and internal policies Assist the Head Chef and Management with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal updates Skills & Experience Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy restaurant environment Strong work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure Positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude Energetic, motivated, and passionate about food What We Offer Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities to showcase creativity and develop culinary skills Competitive salary package The chance to be part of a passionate team dedicated to great food and hospitality
