About the Opportunity Securecorp is excited to announce a remarkable opportunity for the position of Security Manager at one of our Retail sites in the CBD! This Managerial Leadership position will oversee daily operations, facilitating coordination between the control room, Patrol Officers, Rovers, and contractor/Client liaison. This role includes the management of approximately 30 security officers. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Liaising with clients, customers, and tenants Ensuring compliance through the management of quality systems Leading and managing a medium to large-sized team Developing & managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assuring service delivery through auditing and reporting Manage complaints and performance issue regarding security staff Assist with initial management of emergency threats and risks Create safety culture in line with company’s IMS. Manage rosters, leave planners and reports (daily, monthly) Train & develop security staff in line with contract SOPs Key Selection Criteria The Site Manager must demonstrate appropriate leadership proficiency, skills, professional experience, and knowledge for the role including: Valid Security License and First Aid & CPR Certification Prior experience leading a medium to large security team (Min 2 Years) Demonstrated capability in security strategy and operations procedures Knowledge and experience in protective, physical, and electronic security application Be skilled in team briefing and good customer communication/service Control Room Accreditation (required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask A customer service-oriented mindset Certificate IV in Security Risk Management or an equivalent qualification (highly regarded) Effective internal and external stakeholder management skills to liaise with tenants, property managers/owners, and VICPOL.
