Grade 2 level role 6 month contract or permanent 2 hours from Melbourne Experienced Community Occupational Therapist required for this regional hospital, just two hours from Melbourne. Ideally you will be an experienced clinician who is able to confidently carry a caseload and offer support to the junior OTs on the team. There is a 6 month contract or permanent role available. Ideally to start in March/April. Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract. Open to experienced Grade 1 clinicians looking to take a step up. The caseload involves: Working with the frail aged and people with a disability to maximise independence at home. Working with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home Developing goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local community Collaborating with other clinicians in the RAHT team to offer holistic care to clients referred Working with a diverse range of clients and health conditions. Working across funding streams such as HACC PYP, CHSP & possibly the NDIS (minimal, if any) Opportunity to work with Allied Health Assistants to undertake client care programs and equipment trials. Primarily home based work with some opportunity for clinic appts.
