Overview : Cubby College is a purpose-built childcare centre and was built with attention to detail, quality of care and education in mind with a central focus of being the first most Family Friendly Child Care Centre in the Canada bay Local Geographical Area situated in the heart of Concord. At Cubby College we provide a secure and happy environment where children can develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic skills to become competent and confident individuals We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning and implementing early learning programs, supporting language and developmental skills, maintaining observations and records in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. This a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Concord, NSW. Main tasks : -Providing adequate supervision for the children and working towards supporting colleagues in achieving the same. -Planning and promoting language development through activities such as songs, rhymes, storytelling, and reading. -Develop the planning, implementation and evaluation of the program in your room, exploring activities to develop social and motor skills, and confidence. -Collecting, recording and evaluating children’s records and observations, as required by Department of Education and Communities and the National Quality Standard; and -Know and implement the Early Years Learning Framework in programs and records, including Outcomes, Practices, and Principles. Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience : -Minimum of bachelor’s degree or higher in Education plus 1 year’ industry work experience within the past 5 years; Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge : -Be honest, motivated, reliable and responsible. -Be willing and able to commit to permanent, ongoing employment in the long-term. -Be able to work autonomously and as part of a diverse team; and possess sound interpersonal skills. Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
