Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Marryatville. The successful candidate will play an important role in producing high-quality baked goods, maintaining consistent standards, and supporting efficient bakery operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and present a range of breads and baked goods in accordance with company recipes and standards. Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation to ensure consistent high standards. Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies. Contribute to the development and improvement of bakery products and recipes. Maintain appropriate portion control and presentation standards. Ensure a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment within the bakery and storage areas. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain product availability and customer satisfaction. Stay informed about baking techniques and industry trends to support quality and innovation. Provide guidance and support to junior staff, apprentices, or trainees when required. Assist with staff rostering and daily production planning. Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene regulations. Key Requirements Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial bakery environment. Demonstrated experience working as a baker or in a professional bakery setting. Strong understanding of baking processes, recipes, and techniques. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
