Client Our client is a small cap base metals producer with operations in the northwest corridor of Queensland. Backed by clear strategic intent and active capital deployment, the business is investing in targeted mineral processing plant upgrades to improve reliability, throughput and overall operational performance. With a lean structure and growth mindset, this is an environment where capable leaders can have direct impact and visibility at executive level. The Opportunity We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join the owner’s team and oversee delivery of multiple mineral processing upgrade projects within live operating environments. This is a Brisbane corporate based role with ad hoc site travel aligned to key execution and commissioning phases. The position reports directly to the COO, with a strong on site working relationship with the Site General Manager across mining and processing operations. While structured initially as a 24 month fixed term appointment, the scale of current and planned capital works strongly indicates continuation into a permanent full time role as the business continues to expand. Operating within a head contractor delivery model, you will act as the client side Project Manager responsible for ensuring scope, cost, schedule and safety outcomes are delivered in line with owner expectations. Responsibilities Lead end to end delivery of brownfield mineral processing plant upgrade projects. Oversee EPCM consultancies, construction contractors and OEM partners. Maintain governance across scope, cost, schedule, risk and safety performance. Provide visible leadership on site during critical execution phases to maintain accountability and momentum. Interface closely with the COO, Site General Manager and operational teams to ensure alignment between capital works and production priorities. Requirements Proven project delivery experience within mining or mineral processing environments. Experience operating client side within an owner’s team model is highly regarded. Exposure to EPCM or Tier contractors delivering plant construction and commissioning will be viewed favourably. Strong commercial acumen and contractor management capability. Ability to operate confidently between executive reporting and boots on ground site execution. Benefits and Offering This is an opportunity to join a growing small cap producer where projects are highly visible and directly influence operational outcomes. You will have direct exposure to executive leadership and the ability to shape capital delivery standards within the organisation. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated in line with experience and capability. What to do next Apply via SEEK with an updated resume tailored to this opportunity.
