About the Role: Our client is seeking a trainee Optical Assistant to join a close-knit team in a bright, modern optometry practice in Avalon, Sydney, NSW. In this role you will be trained how to use optical equipment and will be taught how to assist clients choose their glasses and lenses. They pride themselves on delivering thorough, family-friendly eye health services, from routine eye exams to comprehensive testing for conditions like glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. Ideally, you'll have Year 12 preferably with Maths and Science Retail or Customer Service Experience Highly responsible Excellent communication You will be asked to study and complete the Certificate 4 Course in optical dispensing, which is a great qualification to have.
