We’re seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to support a Tier 1 client across multiple project sites in Western Australia. This is an initial short-term engagement (approx. 2–3 months) with further opportunities for other assignments within the company. Ideal for fitters looking for strong hourly rates, quality gear, and a well-run operation. You’ll be joining a productive, safety-focused team working a 8:7 / 7:7 roster with a mix of day and night shifts . The roster is 4 days, 4 nights, 4 days, 3 nights with 7 days off in between. Fly out day Monday flying to Tom Price. The Role: You’ll be hands-on across a broad fleet of large-scale mobile plant, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to keep operations moving safely and efficiently from the workshop. Your day-to-day will include: Servicing, fault-finding and repairs on earthmoving equipment in a workshop environment in a large team Working across Production size dump trucks, excavators, dozers, graders and loaders Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trade assistants Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety Working autonomously or collaboratively to meet deadlines What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in mining or civil environments Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitter trade qualification Strong experience on mobile plant, with highly regarded exposure to: 16M & 24M Graders D10 & D11 Dozers 785 Water Carts Experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu C Class manual driver’s licence & forklift ticket (req) Dogman ticket (adv) Willing to provide a National Police Clearance within 12 months 2 years post trade experience RTIO Inductions an advantage Safety-focused, reliable and proud of your work Perth-based with full Australian working rights What’s On Offer Pay rates up to $87 per hour Super 8:7 / 7:7 roster with a mix of day and night shifts Short-term 2–3 month initial engagement for a Tier 1 client with further opportunities on other sites Exposure to a wide range of large-scale equipment Well-supported teams and high-standard sites Potential for ongoing or future opportunities for strong performers When you join us, you are not just a number, but a crucial team member and we rely on your to represent our organisation with pride.
