About the Opportunity: LUCAS Restaurants is about to embark on a significant period of growth with a number of new venues opening in the next 6-12 months, to facilitate this we are on the look-out for an Executive Chef to join our team in Sydney. Reporting to the Group Executive Chef, The Executive Chef will lead a talented team and ensure the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. This role will be available in the second half of 2025 at a newly opened venue in NSW. You’ll have input into the menu and team development for the pre-opening launch. The Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated experience as either a Executive Chef, Executive Sous or Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment European cuisine experience preferred, but not essential Experience creating and costing menus Track record of leading teams that deliver outcomes Ability to manage staff performance, including unsatisfactory performance Display exemplary leadership and passion for global cuisine trends Understanding of financial budgets, food and labour costs Experience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentation Rostering and ordering experience Monitor and supervise OH&S standards and procedure Ability to build and maintain effective relationships Outstanding time management Calm and composed demeanour Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Working with LUCAS Restaurants: People are at the core of our success and our culture goes beyond our workplace.
