You will also support AHCWA's participation in external forums, expos, and sector engagements. To view the full position description and selection criteria, click here or visit www.ahcwa.org.au About You We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience: Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering large‑scale events such as conferences and workshops (200 participants), ideally within a community or not‑for‑profit setting; Strong time management skills and the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise own workload; Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with clients, external stakeholders, managers, and employees at all levels; Highly developed written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise documentation and reports; Proven ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while meeting strict deadlines; and Demonstrated ability to uphold the principles of cultural safety including an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Ideally , in addition to be above, we are looking for someone who: Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is acknowledged as such by their community; and Has experience and proficiency using EventsAir software. The position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of employees, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
