With advanced capabilities including 4-axis CNC milling, 3-axis CNC turning, and 4-axis EDM wire cutting, our metal stamping division operates two 110-ton automatic coil-fed lines, producing up to 100,000 brackets per shift. Who We Are Looking For We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the construction and mining machinery sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and market expansion strategies for our engineering machining services and products. You will need to have an in-depth understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the building industry. Through detailed market analysis and strategic decision-making, you will provide valuable insights to drive sales performance and optimise sales processes. You will lead the sales team to achieve company targets while fostering long-term client relationships to boost sales growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales and market expansion strategies for our engineering and metal stamping services and products, focusing on increasing market share. Conduct in-depth market analysis in the construction, mining, and engineering machinery sectors, providing data-driven insights to inform sales decisions and optimise sales processes. Lead the sales team to achieve targets in a competitive market environment, ensuring high market penetration of our products. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including contractors and builders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Coordinate with internal departments to leverage our CNC machining and metal stamping capabilities, providing tailored engineering solutions for clients. Plan and execute various marketing activities, including trade shows, online marketing campaigns, and business development events, to enhance brand visibility and industry presence. Regularly assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities, using data analysis to adjust strategies and drive consistent sales growth. Stay informed on competitors’ products and market trends, providing competitive intelligence to ensure Hi-Precision Engineering remains at the forefront of the industry. Skills & Experience A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing management within the construction or engineering machinery sectors, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in sales performance, particularly in the engineering machinery industry. Strong skills in market research, competitive analysis, and customer relationship management. Deep understanding of construction and engineering machinery products, market demands, and client structures. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Prior industry contacts and established market channels are a plus. What We Offer Permanent full-time position with opportunities for career progression.
