They are working and investing in the nexus between energy and data centres in Australia. Responsibilities As an Energy Systems Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how they understand and plan for power availability across our operating regions. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining real-time tracking tools and heat maps to monitor power availability in key markets. Analysing grid capacity, transmission constraints, and infrastructure developments to inform site selection and strategy. Providing data-driven insights through scenario modeling, forecasting, and risk assessments. Supporting grid connection strategies and capacity planning in collaboration with the Energy team. Collaborating with strategy, development, and sustainability teams to integrate grid intelligence into investment decisions. Monitoring regulatory changes, utility updates, and major project activity across the APAC region. Qualifications To excel in this role, you will bring: A degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy analytics, grid planning, or infrastructure strategy, ideally within data centres, utilities, or consulting. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, or GIS platforms. A solid understanding of electricity markets, grid infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks in the APAC region. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
