Job Details Process Operator Roles 12 hour rotating Shift Positions Porta Products is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the above position. The roles being offered are on a full time permanent basis located in Oberon NSW. Porta is a manufacturing site that creates MDF board, particle board, laminate etc. along with our Woodchem site that is the chemical manufacturing section that produces resin and other products for the rest of the site to help create the final products. There are various areas of the site that requiring operator positions to be filled. The requirements for these roles are as follows: Commitment to Safety Ability to work as part of a team or independently Good communication skills (oral, listening and written) A desire to learn & apply new skills Physical Fitness Current Forklift Licence (desirable) Be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts (rosters will include some weekends) Strong literacy skills both written and verbal Basic Computer Skill As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
