Position Overview As an Aged or Disabled Carer , you will provide personal care, emotional support, and general household assistance to clients in their homes. The role requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities Accompany aged and disabled clients during daily activities Assist clients with mobility and movement Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required Arrange and support participation in social and recreational activities Perform household tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning, and general tidying Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing Provide companionship, friendship, and emotional support Assist with shopping and running errands Support clients to maintain independence and wellbeing In some cases, provide live-in care where required Requirements Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or related field (preferred) Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or community care is highly regarded Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and respectfully in clients’ homes Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (advantageous) What We Offer Supportive and inclusive working environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Flexible working arrangements How to Apply Please send your resume and cover letter to: careiwish46@gmail.com
