Our organisation relies on modern digital infrastructure including: Google Workspace for communication and document management Enterprise Synology systems for centralised data storage and backup Zoho Desk for internal IT support management Agentcis for student data and application management VoIP phone infrastructure with multiple internal extensions Mixed IT environment including Apple iMac, MacBook and Windows-based desktops and laptops Corporate website infrastructure and hosting platforms Due to organisational growth, we are seeking a qualified ICT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the company’s ICT infrastructure across multiple offices. Position Overview The ICT Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and administering the organisation’s ICT systems, networks, storage infrastructure and cloud services to ensure secure, reliable and efficient operation of all technology platforms across domestic and international offices. The role will be based in Sydney Head Office and will support all company offices through remote administration and occasional onsite support where required. Key Duties and Responsibilities The role will include but not limited to: Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems and enterprise application software across organisational systems. Administering and maintaining Google Workspace, including user accounts, permissions, shared drives, email systems and security policies. Managing and maintaining Synology NAS storage infrastructure, including data storage allocation, backup configuration, replication and disaster recovery planning. Administering and supporting Agentcis CRM systems used for student data management and application tracking. Managing the organisation’s Zoho Desk ticketing system, monitoring service requests and resolving IT support issues across offices. Installing, configuring and maintaining MacOS and Windows operating systems across iMac, MacBook, desktops and laptops. Managing network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, switches and firewall configurations across offices. Configuring and maintaining VoIP phone systems and internal communication infrastructure. Monitoring system performance, identifying system bottlenecks and troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues. Maintaining corporate website infrastructure, hosting environments, DNS configuration and domain management. Implementing and maintaining ICT security policies, including access control, patch management, antivirus protection and system monitoring. Implementing IT security measures including patch management, antivirus protection, firewall configuration and user access control. Performing regular system maintenance, upgrades and software updates to ensure optimal performance and security of systems. Monitoring and maintaining backup and cloud recovery systems, including NAS backup solutions and cloud storage integration. Supporting virtualisation environments and cloud backup technologies where applicable. Assisting with server administration and scripting automation tasks where required. Maintaining detailed documentation for IT systems, infrastructure configurations, procedures and support processes. Providing technical support and guidance to staff across all office locations. Coordinating with external IT service providers, hosting companies, vendors and telecommunications providers when necessary. Assisting in the planning, implementation and upgrade of new IT systems and technology infrastructure to support organizational growth. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Required Experience Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience as an ICT Systems Administrator, System Administrator or Infrastructure Support Engineer. Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple office locations. Experience administering cloud productivity platforms such as Google Workspace. Experience managing network infrastructure, storage systems and enterprise backups. Experience supporting MacOS and Windows operating environments. Experience working with CRM or service management systems such as Agentcis or Zoho Desk.
