Introduction Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL ) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10 year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. Description The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for providing a hands-on leadership and management to the laboratory personnel and laboratory equipment to ensure that laboratory processes are compliant with safety standards, and that analytical results are accurate to support and achieve mill production targets through efficient sample preparation, assaying and reporting of metallurgical samples. This role is permanent full time and is based on site on an 8 days on/6 days off roster, FIFO ex-Perth. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Provide day-to-day supervision to Laboratory Technician(s), supporting a positive working culture adhering to PACE values, along with personnel training and development. Conduct basic routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and assist with the coordination and management of calibrations, preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Identify, report and rectify issues impacting the safety, quality and performance of the laboratory operations. Manage hazardous substances and follow strict procedures for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous, toxic, and corrosive reagents. Demonstrate full compliance and commitment with the OHS Management System and ensure a safe work environment through incident/accident reporting, high housekeeping standards, Safe Work Procedures and active involvement in safety programs and meetings. Plan and delegate daily tasks and sample priorities to optimise laboratory efficiency and meet sample turnaround requirements. Communicate effectively with the cross shift to obtain and transfer relevant laboratory information. Ensure laboratory checks are completed and noted defects are actioned. Ensure QA/QC and laboratory compliance and promptly report variances to the Metallurgy team. Contribute to weekly, monthly and shutdown planning process with maintenance tasks and other problems identified in the laboratory as required. Communicate and act on daily instructions from the Plant and Senior Metallurgists. Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Perform and ensure analytical and laboratory processes are completed as per BGL procedures, safety and regulatory requirements and industry’s best practice, such as but not limited to: Sample preparation: splitting, sorting, racking and drying of samples Sizing and moisture analysis of plant samples Aqua Regia Digestion, Leachwell bottle rolls, AAS operation, and other Metallurgical Test Works Solution standard and reagents preparation for laboratory and processing plant use Sample collection where required Enter, maintain and report records of all tested samples daily Troubleshooting sample errors in the plant and submitting recommendations to metallurgy department. Managing the laboratory Safe Work Procedures including writing and updating. Provide technical solutions for lab sampling and processing issues. Stocktake and ordering of reagents and consumables. Conducting test work programs and surveys as required and providing metallurgy department with recommended actions and reports. Other duties as requested by your Supervisor / Manager. Skills And Experiences Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience: Schedule 26 (S26) Statutory Supervisor Minimum 3 years’ relevant industry experience in a Laboratory Supervisor role or similar Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques preferred or equivalent Valid WA C class driver’s license Ability to work within a small team to achieve KPI’s.
