The Position: We are currently looking for experienced Site Safety Coordinators to join us across our WA operations. We Offer: Permanent Full-time position with a Tier 1 Mining Contractor 8/6 roster available Competitive salary 12% Superannuation paid on all hours worked Great company culture and supportive management team Up to 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and Lil Miners Club Discounted health insurance with Bupa, HBF and Medibank Novated vehicle leasing through SG Fleet & Toyota Fleet Management Discounted vehicles & servicing through Eagers Automotive Group Dealership Discounted Accor Hotels & Crown Perth accommodation Discounted Hertz & Budget car hire Career development opportunities Responsibilities & Duties: Train and assess employees and associated personnel to comply with the requirements of the project safety/environmental management plan Conduct and coordinate investigations into all personnel incidents at site Assist with management of the site injury management system to ensure successful injury management outcomes Complete organisational, site-specific safety and environmental reporting requirements as required by the SEQT Manager Conduct risk assessments and assist with the development of site-specific procedures Provide leadership, coaching and support to the site underground trainers regarding WHS management activities Ensure that organisational policies are implemented and adhered to for their areas of responsibility and develop where appropriate to ensure consistent performance and management Requirements: Working knowledge of SEQT management systems, plans, standards, programs, and how these are applied Experience in mining, or mine equipment maintenance Working knowledge of management systems (INX, Moodle, PowerBi) would be advantages Certificate IV in WHS TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Minimum 3 years of operational underground experience in all facets of the underground mining cycle and equipment Current Shotfirers license (Desirable) Current dangerous goods security card Current first aid certificate Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word Demonstrated use of safety database systems (INX Desirable) National Police Clearance Must have the right to work in Australia Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence Preferred candidate to reside in WA The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
