Numeracy Intervention Teacher (0.8) Western Melbourne Start: Term 1, 2026 Location: Western suburbs Represented by Prospero Teaching We are seeking a dedicated Numeracy Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming secondary college in Melbourne’s west. This is a 0.8 role, including a Year 7 maths class and targeted numeracy support for Years 7–9. The school serves a low-DMI community with a high proportion of refugee and newly arrived students , representing communities including Middle Eastern, Myanmar, African, and Vietnamese backgrounds. Over 80% of students speak a language other than English at home. Despite the challenges, the maths faculty is highly collaborative, advanced, and passionate about explicit, high-impact teaching strategies . This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ numeracy outcomes while working with an expert team.
