Diverse Learning Assistant (Junior School) Job Type: Full-time, ongoing Location: Junior School – Melbourne Inner East Job Category: Teaching and Learning Prospero Teaching is partnering with a leading Melbourne primary school to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Diverse Learning Assistant . It is a term-time full-time role , supporting the learning needs of students in the Junior School and assisting teachers to deliver high-quality, inclusive programs. Our Diverse Learning Assistants support students and staff by: Assisting classroom teachers in the education of all students, with a focus on students with diverse learning needs Supporting student and staff pastoral care Participating in professional learning, formation and growth Supporting co-curricular activities so students can engage beyond the classroom Completing general administrative duties, including reporting and NCCD compliance Maintaining duty of care and child safety responsibilities Our Diverse Learning Assistants work constructively to ensure a positive, supportive, and professional culture is maintained in the classroom and across the school.
