The Role As Head Veterinary Nurse, you will lead by example — bringing strong clinical skills, organisation, and a calm, supportive approach to the team. Lead and coordinate surgical days Mentor and support the nursing team Maintain exceptional clinical and patient care standards Provide hands-on surgical and hospital nursing Confident & experienced in anaesthesia monitoring, IV placement, and blood collection Assist with imaging and dental procedures, including performing dental radiography Performing triage service and standard nurse consultations Assist with stock control and support the Practice Manager with general clinic operations About You Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (experienced uncertified nurses considered) Minimum 3 years’ veterinary nursing experience Leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential Confident across surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, and hospital care Passionate about patient care, teamwork, and mentoring others What’s In It For You?
