With a busy reporting period approaching, they’re bringing in an experienced Accountant to provide extra hands-on support across core finance operations and help keep the month-end process running smoothly. Your new position: Reporting into an approachable Finance Manager, you’ll step into a broad, practical accounting role focused on reconciliations, month-end support, and keeping the day-to-day finance function tight and accurate. This is a sleeves-rolled-up contract where you’ll add value from day one. Key responsibilities include but not limited too: • Owning bank, balance sheet and clearing account reconciliations • Investigating and resolving reconciling items and discrepancies • Preparing journals, accruals, reclasses and maintaining prepayments • Supporting month-end close and shared cost allocations • Assisting with AP/AR ageing reviews and coding quality checks • Maintaining supplier and debtor master data integrity • Supporting cashflow accuracy, cut-offs and control processes • Preparing audit schedules and assisting with process improvements About you: You’re a hands-on Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail. You’ve worked in busy environments, understand controls, and can hit the ground running without heavy supervision. Strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset are key.
