About the Role We are currently seeking applications for a Weighbridge Operator at Invicta Mill in the township of Giru, south of Townsville. This is a seasonal position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season on a rotating roster. The roster is a Lifestyle Roster on a 4/5 rotation and shift hours are 4am - 4pm or 4pm -4am. The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for the correct weighing of all cane entering the weighbridge and data entry from the consignment information. This position is also responsible for cleaning, working in confined spaces and the maintaining of records. The Weighbridge is the first station of the Milling process, and requires someone who can handle a distracting, high pressure and rewarding work environment. We provide ample training to ensure the candidate is successful and confident in the position. To be successful in this position, Strong communication and a team player. Mechanical aptitude is desirable. Good mathematical skills. Experience with computer programs.
