About the Position: The Waiter Supervisor role at Golden Period Pty Ltd T/AS Ruby’s Rasoi is pivotal in overseeing the front-of-house operations to ensure seamless dining experiences for our guests. This position involves leading a team of waitstaff, coordinating service during busy shifts, and upholding high standards of customer service within our bustling Indian restaurant. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the waitstaff team during service hours to ensure efficient and courteous table service. Coordinate seating arrangements, manage reservations, and optimise table turnover to maximise restaurant capacity. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Train new staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and health and safety standards. Monitor inventory of dining supplies, such as cutlery, glassware, and linens, and place orders as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and liquor licensing requirements. Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff rosters to cover peak periods effectively.
