We are partnering with a well established mining operation in the Muswellbrook area seeking an experienced Health and Injury Management Coordinator to join their Health, Safety and Training team. This is a key role supporting the workforce through injury management, return to work programs, and health and wellbeing initiatives across the site. About the Role Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, you will provide guidance and support across injury management, rehabilitation and workforce health initiatives. You will work closely with operational leaders, health and safety professionals, and external providers to ensure injured workers receive appropriate support while maintaining compliance with legislative and company requirements. The role focuses on early intervention, return to work coordination, health monitoring programs, and the ongoing development of health and wellbeing initiatives across the site. Key Responsibilities Coordinate injury management and return to work programs to support safe and timely rehabilitation of injured employees Review and manage pre employment and periodic health assessments Support early intervention initiatives and health education programs across the workforce Monitor and maintain health and injury management systems to ensure legislative compliance Develop and coordinate workplace health and wellbeing initiatives Provide guidance and support to leaders on injury management processes and rehabilitation programs Participate in incident reviews, claims discussions and high risk case management Collaborate with site leaders and safety teams to drive positive health outcomes across the operation About You Bachelor's degree in an allied health discipline such as Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy Registration with a relevant governing body such as AHPRA or ESSA Previous experience in injury management, rehabilitation or workplace health support Return to Work Coordinator accreditation or willingness to obtain Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety What's on Offer Permanent opportunity with a leading mining operation Supportive Health, Safety and Training team environment Opportunity to drive meaningful health and wellbeing initiatives across the workforce Competitive remuneration and benefits package Exposure to a dynamic operational mining environment If you are passionate about supporting workforce health and injury management and would like to make a meaningful impact within a mining operation, we would love to hear from you.
