Job Description SGS are seeking a full time Chemist to join the team on Curtis Island. The successful candidate will be living in Brisbane and will be willing to relocate. Key responsibilities will include however not limited to: Operate, calibrate, and conduct routine maintenance of analytical instruments with a high degree of precision. Skills with the following instruments are considered essential: Gas Chromatography - Gas samples AAS Auto Titrators UV/Vis Photometry Sir Galahad Maintain laboratory records in a systematic and logical manner. Specifically, maintain calibration records, analytical results, test reports, and maintenance records in LIMS system. Generate custom trend data and reports using a combination of LIMS and MS Office programs. Safely operate plant sampling stations for gaseous and liquefied hydrocarbons, low- and high-pressure hydrocarbon gases, cryogenic liquids and hazardous aqueous liquids. Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and obtain process status to safely configure appropriate sample collection equipment.
