Job Description Epworth HealthCare is seeking 2 casual Chefs, based at Epworth Eastern Box Hill, where you will be responsible for ensuring the food services provided to our patients, visitors and staff is of the highest standards at all times. You will be part of the Food Services team and report to Head Chef. To be successful in this role… You will have: A certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery and a Food Safety Certificate A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Trade Cook Hospital experience preferred, but not essential. Exceptional knowledge of all elements of cooking and serving, and strict adhered to food safety. A solid understanding of allergens management and dietary requirements. Previous experience in all areas of production, ready to eat meals and cook fresh meals. The availability to work a rotating seven-day roster including AM and PM shifts, weekends and public holidays A professional, can do, team approach to your work Drive to enhancing the patient experience through outstanding food service delivery The shifts timing will be from 6.30 am to 2.30 pm morning shift and 10.30 am to 6.30 pm for evening shift.
