Contribute to our mission, Technology for Life. Reporting into the National Workshop Manager, the new Trainee Service Technician (“TST”) will be based at our Notting Hill head office. Further to completion of training requirements, the TST will attain a full Field Service Technician status. The TST will start at an entry level, play a role in servicing Draeger safety devices, and participate in a comprehensive, hands-on training program over the course of 2 years. Key responsibilities include: Maintenance, repair, and testing of safety devices for customers; Generate service reports for customers via CRM Service; Maintain accurate service records; Prepare quotations for customers; Prepare, negotiate, and gain agreement for new and current service contracts; Generate, develop, and maintain the rental business; Deliver technical product training courses to customers Provide professional, efficient, and reliable customer service; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: Completion of Year 11 or 12; Aptitude to effectively learn how to service, repair, and maintain the Draeger Safety product range. Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams to comprehend technical problems presented by customers and provide effective solutions; Well versed with performing routine arithmetic calculations and ability develop an understanding of pricing structures to complete quotations Capacity to effectively articulate verbal and written company/ product information to internal and external stakeholders; Proficiency with various IT software including Microsoft Office applications; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude, great work ethic, and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards; Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organisational, task management skills, and; Current Drivers License.
