Key Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor therapeutic effects, following medication charts and organisational policies. Perform clinical assessments, wound care, catheter and syringe driver management where required, and document findings accurately. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and allied health to develop and update care plans tailored to resident needs. Provide end-of-life care with dignity, supporting both resident comfort and family communication. Respond to clinical incidents and emergencies calmly, escalate appropriately and complete required incident reporting. Maintain infection control practices and high standards of clinical governance and safety. Mentor and guide less experienced staff and support continuity of care across shifts. Essential Qualifications and Checks Highest Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification. Registration: Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Licences and Checks: Full Australian Drivers Licence, current Police Check, and Working with Children Check. Skills and Attributes Clinical confidence across medications, wound management and routine nursing procedures. Strong communication skills to build rapport with residents, families and colleagues.
