What You’ll Be Doing As the SRE Team Lead, you will guide, grow, and develop an SRE capability focused on observability, operational excellence, and proactive reliability improvement. Reporting to the Head of SRE, you’ll own the uplift of monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing across our cloud platforms, while partnering broadly across engineering, data, and operations teams. Your leadership will shape how the organisation designs, delivers, and measures system health. You will: • Lead, coach, and mentor an SRE team focused on building high-performing observability practices • Define and mature observability strategy—including dashboards, telemetry standards, alerting, SLO/SLI frameworks • Embed observability into engineering and delivery processes across cloud and data platforms • Use data-driven insights to identify performance and reliability improvements •Support the adoption and optimisation of tools such as New Relic across AWS and Databricks environments • Communicate technical insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels • Evaluate new technologies and approaches to improve visibility, reliability, and team effectiveness What’s In It For You At Compare the Market and iSelect, we’re all about helping people make smart choices – and joining us might just be yours.
