Opportunity in Sydney or open to Canberra/ Melbourne/ Perth - Defence Industry Your new company A wellestablished engineering organisation supporting complex maritime and defence platforms is seeking a Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to join its Sydneybased team. The organisation delivers longterm sustainment and design support services across inservice assets and offers a stable, technically challenging environment within the defence sector. Your new role Responsible for delivering ILS and logistics engineering artefacts in support of sustainment and engineering change activities across complex platforms. This role focusses on ensuring throughlife supportability, maintainability and costeffective asset management, working closely with engineering, project and customer stakeholders.Key responsibilities include: Delivering Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) activities, including: FMECA, LORA, RCM and task analysis Developing and updating preventive maintenance documentation and maintenance plans Producing and maintaining technical manuals and support documentation in line with Defence and industry standards Conducting life cycle cost (LCC) analysis and supporting costofownership optimisation Performing spares and allowances analysis, including optimisation activities Supporting codification and cataloguing of items of supply within Defence logistics systems Managing ILS inputs to minor engineering changes, including planning, scheduling and stakeholder coordination Providing ILS advice and technical guidance to project and engineering teams Supporting and mentoring junior ILS engineers Operating in accordance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements within a regulated environment What you'll need to succeed Bachelors degree in Engineering Strong understanding of ILS and sustainment processes, ideally within a defence or assetintensive environment Knowledge of systems engineering principles and how logistics engineering integrates into the systems lifecycle Experience developing maintenance documentation, technical manuals and ILS artefacts Exposure to life cycle costing, spares analysis and configurationcontrolled environments Strong technical writing and documentation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver in highpressure environments Eligibility to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance What you'll get in return A longterm, stable role supporting complex, highvalue assets A senior position with influence over throughlife support and sustainment outcomes Opportunity to mentor and develop ILS capability within the team Competitive salary package aligned to experience A collaborative, professional engineering environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Holly.Powell@Hays.com.au , or call us now.
