The organisation delivers longterm sustainment and engineering services across highly regulated environments, offering a stable and technically challenging workplace. Your new role Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, you will lead the ILS and logistics engineering function, providing technical leadership and delivery oversight across sustainment and engineering change activities. This role combines handson logistics engineering with team leadership, stakeholder engagement and assurance of throughlife support outcomes.Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of ILS and sustainment activities, including planning, scheduling, resourcing and reporting Providing technical authority across logistics support analysis, including FMECA, LORA, RCM, task analysis and life cycle cost (LCC) Developing and maintaining preventive maintenance documentation, maintenance plans and technical instructions Overseeing the preparation, review and update of technical manuals and support documentation Leading ILS inputs to engineering changes, ensuring baseline data and support artefacts are updated Managing ILSrelated minor change activities, including stakeholder engagement and delivery coordination Providing expert ILS advice to engineering, project and asset management teams Supporting throughlife supportability and costofownership optimisation Leading and mentoring ILS engineers within the team Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, processes and quality requirements Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Logistics or a related discipline Significant experience in ILS or logistics engineering roles within complex or regulated environments Strong understanding of ILS and sustainment processes across the asset lifecycle Experience applying systems engineering principles to logistics and supportability Proven capability in ILS analyses and artefact development (e.g. FMECA, LORA, RCM, LCC, PMDs, TMPs, LSAR) Strong technical writing, review and documentation skills Experience leading teams and managing multiple workstreams Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to operate autonomously and deliver outcomes in highpressure environments Eligibility to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance What you'll get in return A senior technical leadership role supporting complex, highvalue assets Opportunity to influence throughlife support and sustainment strategies Longterm role with stability and professional development opportunities Competitive salary package aligned to experience A collaborative, professional engineering environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Holly.Powell@hays.com.au , or call us now.
