Qualifications, registrations and other requirements Mandatory requirements are a medical qualification and tertiary qualification in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA, or equivalent) and be registerable with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Specialist Pathologist. The incumbents must be Fellows of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent.
