Senior Clinical Trial Assistant Your Role in Our Future As Senior Clinical Trial Assistant, you will work collaboratively with project and clinical trial teams as you carry out a blend of administrative, clinical and patient facing duties helping to ensure trials across our Cancer Trial Unit are running smoothly and efficiently. Working across multiple projects at any one time, this role will require you to prioritise your workload, work towards multiple deadlines and communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders. Conduct clinical activities including ECG, vital signs and blood collection via venepuncture in an effective and efficient manner (full training will be provided, previous experience not essential). Complete trial documentation and other administrative tasks, including preparing documentation for patient visits, data entry and query resolution. Effective and timely communication with patients, monitors, vendors and where appropriate, sponsors. Perform daily real time source data quality control checks on source documentation. This role will be based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands and will be offered on a full-time basis for 12-months in the first instance. Your Experience The ideal applicant for this role will have a combination of previous experience working in a patient facing role with good administrative, communication and coordination skills with the ability to work with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines. Advanced communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrated ability to work within standards, procedures, and regulations.
