About the role: Lead and evolve ARN’s enterprise data architecture, defining conceptual, logical and physical data models aligned to business strategy and enterprise architecture standards. Establish and govern data architecture standards, including data domains, integration patterns, naming conventions and reference models to enable consistency and scalability. Partner with technology, productivity and domain owners to translate business requirements into fit‑for‑purpose data designs that support reporting, analytics and operational use cases. Provide architectural oversight across data platforms and solutions, ensuring alignment with data governance, security, privacy and compliance requirements. Support delivery teams across data initiatives, resolving architectural issues and ensuring solutions are production‑ready, maintainable and operationally sustainable Evaluate data platforms, tools and vendor solutions, delivering evidence‑based recommendations aligned to ARN’s technology strategy and policies. About you: Proven expertise in enterprise data architecture, including conceptual, logical and physical data modelling in complex, multi‑platform environments. Strong hands‑on experience with modern cloud data and analytics ecosystems (e.g. Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI), including lakehouse/medallion architectures and integration patterns. Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage and quality practices, with experience implementing governance frameworks and tooling (e.g. Unity Catalog, Purview). Experience working across technology, data, security and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, enterprise‑grade data solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Experience operating in fast‑paced, digitally evolving environments, ideally within large or content‑rich organisations.
