We are seeking a reliable and empathetic female Personal Care Assistant to start immediately on a casual hourly basis. About the Role You will provide practical and emotional support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Assist with personal hygiene and grooming, including showering, dressing and toileting support. Support with mobility, safe transfers and use of mobility aids according to care plans. Provide meal preparation, feeding assistance and monitoring of dietary needs. Administer simple medication prompts and follow medication schedules as directed. Deliver companionship, emotional support and social engagement activities tailored to client interests. Perform light household tasks related to care: laundry, shopping support and maintaining a safe living environment. Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior or care needs to the supervising coordinator. Follow all care plans, risk assessments and infection control procedures strictly. Essential Requirements Female applicant only due to client preferences and service matching criteria. Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle for client travel and errands. Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC) valid in Australia. Previous experience in personal care, disability support or aged care preferred. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly. Excellent communication skills, empathy and the ability to work independently.
