This position is in-home care setting, not in residential facilities. Job responsibilities: Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc. Transporting and accompanying clients when required. Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping. Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence. Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app. To apply for the role, ideally you have the following: Confident and calm manner. Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with. Current National Police Check. Certificate Level III in Individual Support (in Aging). Must be available in the morning, can start at between 6am and 8am. Must have a manual handling certificate and experience in using hoist for transfer.
