Light Vehicle Fitter About our Role Join the Barminco team as a LV Fitter and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with current opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining, servicing, and repairing our vast fleet of underground light vehicles to ensure they operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with our site standards. What will your day to day look like? Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs. Conduct inspections, pre-starts, and compliance checks to ensure vehicles are safe for operation. Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects or safety issues. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground. Our ideal candidate background includes Previous experience working as a LV Fitter. Trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (or equivalent). Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).
