The successful candidates will be offered a 12-month contract with two 12-month extensions! The successful Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Designing and implementing secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures. Leading cloud migration and modernisation projects, including legacy system rationalisation. Deploying automation and monitoring tools for resilient outcomes. Promoting cloud best practices and uplifting internal capability. Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and service simplification. Supporting lifecycle management of systems and software within cloud environments. The successful Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will have experience in the following: 5–10 years’ experience delivering AWS solutions for complex projects. Strong expertise in AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance, and governance. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent organisational and communication skills. Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Experience managing complex projects.
