As a Contract Administrator at Best Choice Contracting, you will be responsible for managing and administering construction contracts across residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities and Tasks: Prepare, review and administer construction contracts, subcontracts and supplier agreements for residential and commercial building projects Interpret project plans, specifications and contractual documents to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions Monitor project budgets, variations and progress claims to ensure financial control across construction projects Assess and process subcontractor payment claims, invoices and variations in line with contract requirements Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met Maintain accurate contract documentation, records and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle Identify and manage contractual risks, delays and disputes, providing recommendations to management Coordinate procurement activities including sourcing materials and negotiating terms with suppliers Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, codes and Work Health & Safety requirements Assist in project cost reporting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business decision-making Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Contract Administrator Strong knowledge of construction contracts and project administration processes Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
