Full-time Shopfitter position available in Marrickville NSW 2204 Colligo Projects is a Sydney based multi discipline firm who is passionate about creating unique spaces clients genuinely enjoy. Colligo works primarily across commercial, retail and hospitality projects, delivering vibrant, functional spaces through an end-to-end construction approach. On behalf of Colligo Projects' in-house joinery and fitout team, we are seeking a skilled full-time Shopfitter to support the installation and on-site completion of commercial fitouts, including the accurate set-out, assembly, and fixing of joinery and interior fixtures. The successful candidate will work from drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality finishes, maintain site safety standards, and ensure fitout works are completed to program and client expectations. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpret fitout/shop drawings, specifications and set-out information to plan installation sequences and site works. Measure, set-out and install commercial joinery and fitout components (e.g., cabinetry, wall linings, feature elements, shelving, counters, doors, trims, and fixtures) to a high standard. Assemble and fit components on-site, including hardware fit-off (hinges, runners, handles, locks and associated fixtures) and finishing details for a professional presentation. Use and maintain hand/power tools and site equipment safely, completing works in accordance with WHS requirements and project documentation. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and the joinery/workshop team to resolve installation issues, manage defects, and meet delivery milestones. Maintain tidy and safe work areas, protect finished surfaces, and ensure workmanship meets Colligo's quality standards and client expectations. Qualifications and Skills: Trade qualification relevant to Carpentry/Joinery/Shopfitting (Certificate III or equivalent) At least 1 year of proven experience in commercial fitout installation and/or joinery installation (retail/hospitality fitouts highly regarded) Strong ability to read plans, produce accurate work, and problem-solve on-site to achieve quality finishes. Confident with hardware fit-off and delivering high-quality finishing and defect rectification. Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
