We are currently recruiting an experienced Payroll Coordinator for a 6‑month contract, based at TFE Hotels Head Office in Ultimo. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team while supporting payroll operations across a diverse and dynamic hotel network. About the role: 6 month fixed term contract commencing mid-March 2026 until September 2026 Offered as hybrid - 3 days per fortnight WFH Monday to Friday working hours Reporting to the Payroll Manager ANZ, the key to this role is analysis and problem-solving. If you love numbers, and have a desire to learn every day this is the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the field of Payroll. Working with Dayforce our global payroll and people system you will become a specialist in executing weekly payroll and administration of key HR system functions for our team members across Australia and New Zealand. This is an opportunity to learn and experience Dayforce Payroll, Workforce Management and Talent modules. Key responsibilities include: New team member set up Reviewing schedules and timesheets to ensure compliance Responding to and resolving payroll enquires through our service desk ticket system, in a timely and professional manner Assisting leaders to become strong users of Dayforce Ensure compliance with the relevant awards and legislation in Australia & New Zealand Preparation of payroll and people data and metric reports. About you: A minimum of 1 years end-to-end payroll processing experience (essential) Previous experience with Dayforce, while ideal is not mandatory (we will help you learn) Experience in interpreting industrial instruments i.e.: Modern Australian Awards (essential) Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Intermediate level experience with MS Excel and Word Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and personal accuracy Ability to problem solve and find solutions Good English communication skills (written, verbal and listening) A customer service mindset and passion to help team members. Ability to multitask and work efficiently and with accuracy in a busy environment Unrestricted working rights in Australia, with eligibility to work without sponsorship.
