Experienced Facility Manager sought for a leading medium-sized residential aged care facility in Rockhampton This hands-on role leads the management team to deliver high-quality person-centred care services, while implementing workforce initiatives to support, develop and engage staff. What You’ll Do: Ensure services meet funding/budget targets, report risks promptly to the Head of Residential Aged Care, and oversee financial performance/variances. Monitor service levels, client satisfaction, and deliverables; lead projects to address gaps and boost efficiency. Efficiently deploy resources for sustainability, high standards, and growth; collaborate with management, staff and volunteers on quality services. Implement person-centred care compliant with clinical standards and accreditation requirements; provide strong leadership for client service delivery. Build and maintain community relationships, advocate for residents, maximise occupancy, and resolve complaints/incidents swiftly. Promote WHS, risk management, and stay informed on sector trends to enhance operations. About You: 3–5 years leading high-quality aged care services, driving process, systems and behaviour change in complex settings. Strong knowledge of contemporary aged care including funding systems, Aged Care Act, Accreditation Standards, and specialist areas like dementia/palliative care. Proven management skills in financial, HR, risk, compliance and quality; exceptional customer/stakeholder engagement. Tertiary qualifications in nursing/health management/business (desirable); professional membership (e.g. AHPRA) advantageous; QLD driver's licence essential. Why Join Us?
