THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity is available for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Consulting division. This role is suited to a management accountant seeking broader exposure in a client-facing advisory environment supporting the aged care and disability sectors. You will gain hands-on experience across financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and technical accounting, while working closely with experienced consultants and client finance teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide accounting support to client finance teams through secondments Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements Assist with regulatory compliance and interpretation of sector legislation Support improvements to internal controls and transaction processes Contribute to consulting engagements and technical accounting assignments Work on-site with clients to deliver practical financial solutions Manage multiple projects while meeting strict reporting deadlines EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Tertiary qualification in Accounting 2–3 years’ experience within Professional Services or a similar environment Strong management accounting background with monthly reporting exposure CA or CPA qualification commenced or intention to pursue Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple assignments A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach Interest in the aged care and/or disability sectors (experience advantageous but not essential) THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Will Enjoy Additional wellness leave to support work–life balance Professional registration fee support Access to senior leadership and mentorship Structured learning and development pathways Career progression within a growing advisory division Flexible working arrangements A supportive and collaborative team culture Meaningful work contributing to essential community services Please note: This job is based in Australia therefore, only candidates who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia or NZ will be considered.
